Direct School Admission into 6-year IP Programme for Academic Year 2026 - DSA-Sec Exercise 2025
The Direct School Admission-Sec (DSA-Sec) Exercise is conducted annually. We invite all interested 2025 Primary 6 students to apply for National Junior College’s 6-year Integrated Programme via the DSA-Sec Exercise.
Parents and students are encouraged to choose schools wisely based on the student’s aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the schools’ academic and non-academic requirements, and the programmes available to develop the area of talent.
Students who are successfully admitted to National Junior College via DSA-Sec are expected to honour their commitment to the school for the duration of the six-year Integrated Programme, and participate in the activities related to the talent they are selected for throughout Junior High (i.e. Years 1 – 4).

Application
Applications for the DSA-Sec are free-of-charge and must be submitted through the online DSA-Sec Portal. Applications open on 7 May 2025 (Wed), 11 am and close on 3 Jun 2025 (Tue), 3 pm.

Applicants not studying in MOE mainstream primary schools need to apply for a registration number to access the DSA-Sec Portal. More information on this can be found at here
Selection Process
Applicants will be shortlisted and selected based on the following overarching criteria:

Demonstrate passion for and commitment to grow in the area of interest;

Exemplify and role model positive character traits, including resilience, motivation and integrity;

Display a commitment to contribute to NJC, through the area of interest as well as other opportunities to serve; and
-
Possess good academic potential to thrive in the Integrated Programme.

Please read through the criteria carefully for each talent area. It also shows the portfolio requirements for the talent areas that require portfolio submission.
Applicants who do not have prior experience may also apply. The school will assess applicants based on the selection criteria, which may include assessing the potential of the applicants.
All shortlisted candidates will be notified via email by early August 2025 to attend an in-person audition / trial held in National Junior College. More details on the performance task will be provided in the email notification.
Thereafter, applicants who are further shortlisted will be notified via email to attend an in-person interview by 29 August 2025, held in National Junior College.
Offer of Places
Successful applicants will be notified via email of the results of their DSA-Sec application by 4 September 2025. Successful applicants will be offered a place in National Junior College’s 6-year Integrated Programme for the academic year 2026.
