Tamil Language Elective Programme

The Tamil Language Elective Programme (TLEP) is designed to move beyond traditional classroom boundaries, offering a multidimensional journey where students explore their passion for the Tamil language and culture through both historical heritage and modern innovation. Students engage in the physical and historical study of traditional folk dances. Simultaneously, the programme embraces the “present context” of technology. Through modules such as Short Film Making and Translation, students learn to leverage technology to enhance creative storytelling, problem-solving, and research. Complementing these experiences are signature workshops in Poetry and Short Story Penning, which allow students to “test drive” new creative interests and develop as well-rounded individuals.
