The Moving World
The Moving World is designed to develop students’ foundational understanding of the physical world and the principles that govern it. They will learn how to use the scientific method to investigate natural phenomena and build reliable knowledge. Through inquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking, the students will explore the fundamental laws that explain motion, forces, energy, and how they interact in everyday life.
The topics covered in this course will help them develop a coherent understanding of motion, the causes of motion, rotational effects of forces, energy transformations, and energy changes during changes in temperature and state.
Maxwell’s Universe
Pursuing this module, Maxwell Universe, will enable students to explore important concepts in wave phenomena, fluid pressure, and electrical and magnetic interactions. They will examine how waves transfer energy, how forces act in fluids, and how electric and magnetic fields influence charges and currents. Through a variety of learning activities—including laboratory demonstrations, experiments, and computer simulations—they will deepen students’ understanding of these physical principles and learn to apply them in analysing and solving meaningful problems.
