NJC Indian Dance is a close-knit and vibrant CCA that brings passion, energy, and joy to every performance. While we are named Indian Dance, we welcome dancers from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and are proud to be a truly multicultural community united by our shared love for dance.
Through training in a range of Indian dance forms, including classical and folk styles, students develop versatility, musicality, and strong technical foundations. Beyond regular practices, members are exposed to enrichment programmes, Values-in-Action initiatives, and opportunities to perform at major school and external events. Through these experiences, students grow in confidence, discipline, and self-expression, and the CCA has consistently represented the school with distinction.
Above all, Indian Dance is built on strong camaraderie and team spirit. This sense of belonging and mutual support is the foundation of our sustained excellence, as dancers learn to persevere, grow together, and strive towards their best, both on and off stage.
