Admission to Local Universities
Find out how admission to local Autonomous Universities works, including how your University Admission Score is calculated and what grades you need to qualify.
Admission to local Autonomous Universities (AUs) is determined by discipline-specific prerequisites and the University Admission Score (UAS).
The UAS is computed based on performance in three H2 subjects and H1 General Paper (GP).
Performance in the fourth H1 or H2 content-based subject and H1 Mother Tongue Language (MTL) may be included in the UAS if it improves the score.
If a student reads four H2 subjects, the lowest performing H2 subject will be computed as a H1 subject.
A Pass in Project Work is required for admission to local AUs.
